ORKUN KOKCU HAS EXTENDED HIS CONTRACT AT FEYENOORD.

Feyenoord player Orkun Kokcu didn't leave the club and preferred to extend his contract. Feyenoord finally officially gave a long-term contract extension to Orkun Kokcu until 2025. In fact, Orkun Kokcu contract will expire in 2023, but it seems that Feyenoord does not want to lose this academy player. Orkun Kokcu was rumored to be leaving Feyenoord and reportedly would join one of  Premier League clubs Arsenal but failed because Arsenal had financial problems. Arsenal have confirmed that they cannot spend a lot of money to sign new players for the new season because of COVID19.

Frank Arnesen is therefore very pleased with the agreement with Kökcü. 'Orkun has developed extremely well this past season and has already made great strides in his still young career,' says the technical director. 'We'd like to reward him for that. We are confident that this development will continue in the coming years. Moreover, it is very nice for us that we can keep such a talented player to us for longer.'
