Santi Cazorla will join Al Sadd in the summer.

The information was dropped by the press officer of the Al Sadd club before being relayed by all the Spanish media. At the end of his contract at Villarreal, which he had found in 2018 after two years of hardship and more than 10 operations, Santi Cazorla is in advanced negotiations with the Qatari club Al Sadd, coached by Xavi Hernandez.

Last month, Cazorla spoke about his future at the media Spain and said he already knew what he would do next season: "My future depends on me, not the final classification of Villarreal. I have already made up my mind, but this is not the right time to talk about it. I'll say it when the time comes."
