DICK ADVOCAAT HAS EXTENDED HIS CONTRACT AFT FEYENOORD UNTIL 2021.

dick advocaat current head coach feyenoord is just officially extending his contract until 2021. here is an official statement from feyenoord:

Advocaat: 'It feels strange in these times, of course, but ultimately also good to extend my contract with this wonderful club. Especially over the last few crazy weeks I noticed how driven I am and how much I feel like continuing as a trainer/coach. We were here at Feyenoord until everything came to a standstill with each other with something beautiful, something really started to emerge within the team. That's what I want to do, that's what we want to finish as a staff and selection. The club wants that too, so that's what we're going for, despite the many uncertainties that are there at the moment.'

Technical director Frank Arnesen is pleased that the cooperation with the very experienced trainer can continue. 'It's obviously fantastic that we can tie Dick to us for another season. Under his leadership, we managed to find our way up again during the season and also reached the final of the KNVB Cup. Under Dick's leadership, we were really working on a fantastic series that was unfortunately temporarily interrupted by the corona measures. When we can play football again is unclear, but when the time comes you have to be ready as a club. And that starts as far as I'm concerned with capturing a very good trainer.'

Dick Advocaat will also continue to work with assistants Said Bakkati, Cor Pot and John de Wolf in the coming season. The latter recently extended the contract until mid-2022.
